Coated Tip Up Line

In the past I have always used the run of the mill tip up line for tip ups and rattle reels but I picked up some coated tip up line to try on rattles this year to help with tangled line. I would usually use a seaguar knot to tie on my floro leader, but with the coated line the knot doesn’t seem to tighten up into a smooth knot. Does anyone else use a different knot with coated line or do you just use a swivel?

I, also, just use a swivel on my rattle reels

Fly line in different colors is pretty nice when you got three rattle reels worth laying on the floor in one big mess. Also nice when a rouge eel pout tangles every line after to many Hamm sandwiches and you don’t wake up right away.
