Any Reports on Blackduck Lake

    Am planning a week on Blackduck lake over the 4th of July holiday. Anyone know how the opening went?

    have a few guys going up to my cabin to go fish that lake this weekend. Ill let you know how they did after the weekend.

    Opener was slower than usual on the Duck. Usually Blackduck is a hot opener lake, but it got off to a slow start. AS the water temps have been rising, the fishing has gotten better. I would assume by the 4th you’ll have some good mid-summer patterns starting to creep up and you’ll get into a decent pile of fish.

    In July cranks can rule on BD after dark. Bring them along…

    Two weeks and change to go…haven’t heard much from anyone so I will assume its great!
    What other lakes in the area hold walleye – not looking for the trophy 28+ inch fish but some for the frying pan…
