Battery Issue

    I replaced my batteries last fall with two new Interstae 27 Amp for longer run time and now I am only getting at best six hours on the water with the trolling motor? I run a 80lb thrust Minn Kota Ultera. My charger indicates batteries are full…any thoughts or suggestions on this issue?

    How are you batteries wired? What size wire? What voltage are you getting at the trolling motor?

    I run 24 volt, standard wire, not heavy gauge and not sure on the what the voltage meter is running. All thoughts I have as well. The batteries were an upgrade in size from previous set. Also, could the charger be the issue?

    Do you have a diagram or picture of how the batteries are wired? They could just be hooked up wrong.

    I would get a volt meter and check all the voltages first.
