Still hoping to get some open water bassin in

    Am I dreaming or is there still a bite to be had? Is the water temp just getting to low, or will there be an open water bite up until ice up?

    I’m not much of a bass fisherman but bass can still be caught. The water temp is not to low for open water fishing, if bass can be caught all winter during hard water they can still be caught now. Just my 2 cents.

    A friend of mine did good on pool 5 on Friday. Water temps were 38-39 deg. I’m thinking you’ll have to make it out in the next few days or its going to start icing up with the forecast weather.

    Ol mother nature may beat me soon and make it hard water before I find a day left to fish it open!
    Not ready or wanting winter yet….or at all!
