Anyone been out ice fishing lately or heard what ice conditions are like around the Polk/St. Croix County area? I think I’ll be home from college next weekend, and hoping I can maybe get out on Friday if the ice is holding up Any info would be great.
P.S. Dad-I know your gonna read this….yes, I am cutting wood with you guys on Saturday

16 inches of decent ice Saturday night near Amery!

24 inches of good ice on Big Blake north of Amery. No one is driving vehicles on, but atvs can still be used. I think by this weekend you will not be able to drive off the boat landings and if the weather stays warm this may be the last weekend.
Thanks for the information. I will be strictly walking on. I know a spot that I should be able to hit on Balsam with the ice still being solid at shore unless it has rained a ton by then. Thanks again
