I’ve seen quite a few pheasants this year so far. Not sure its any more than normal or if I’m just out earlier than normal. It does seeem strange that the ditches are being mowed here already. The ticks are terrible though. I walked down a shoreline in the water fishing my way down. Came home pulled 5 ticks off. 5 days later I moved my boots in my truck and two more of the little buggers were on me.

I’ve been hearing roosters cackling most mornings and that is a rare thing for me where I live.
