TFFA ICE FISHING JAMBOREE 2/22/14

The Turtle-Flambeau Flowage Association is proud to again host the Claus Kraetke Memorial Ice Fishing Jamboree in the heated tent on the ice outside of Donners Bay Resort on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Purchase of a $5 book of 3 tickets will get anglers eligible for cash prizes for the three largest northern, walleye, bass, perch and crappie, along with a drawing for a 20 gauge over/under shotgun, Vexilar/Genz Pack Fish Finder or a St.Croix Ice Fishing Package. You do not need to be in attendance for a chance at the drawing prizes, so even non-anglers are eligible.

Other raffles, along with food, beverages and music will be in the heated tent throughout the day.

Proceeds go to the promotion and enhancement of the TFF.

Guide Jeff Robl took out a group staying at one of our cabins this past weekend. They fished off of Fishermans Landing in 6-8 fow with tip-ups and large shiners. They had action on and off through the day and not just at dusk.

Don’t forget the ice fishing jamboree this Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014 at Donners Bay Resort. The event has been moved inside the bar, so bring the family for a brat or hot dog, along with getting in on the afternoon raffles.

Also, each fish registered will earn the angler a free raffle ticket for a special raffle, so bring those fish in to be registered.
