I own a few Beretta’s the A300 does not have to be taken to a gunsmith for plug removal. I’ve removed mine and replaced it several times.

All Beretta auto’s are Gas. They own Benelli for the guy’s who want to shoot an inertia auto.

Depending on your load and motor size I would suggest a 17′ x 54″ wide over a 16′ x 48″. I ran a 35 Hyperdrive Sport on a 16′ x 48″ with pods and wished I had the wider hull because it would draft less. A welded boat is a must in my opinion if your running a larger motor.

Looking at running a 35hp Beavertail. First mud motor so not sure what I want in a boat other than a flat transom. It’s definitely a learning curve.

Purchased my last Jon boat from Power House marine in Lacrosse. At that time the dealers around the twin cities had very few if any in stock and Power house was still getting truck loads in.

I picked up a Lowe 1860. Had a little work done on it since then.

Thanks looks like their inventory is gone. Nice looking rig!!

I run 2 pucks. 2017 Terrova with the Kota HS and put in a Humminbird HS last year. The Hummindird external GPS/HS is faster to lock on and more accurate. It also is mounted above my transducer at the transom to be more accurate. Minnkota HS is only used for Jog and Circle mode with TM.

You can also share 2d from your Helix but you have to turn off chirp on the Helix’s 2d transducer settings. The core model does not read chirp.

If you want to take it out ( you can always put it back in) remove the 4 screws and pop the top off the head unit. It will unscrew at the junction at the head.

I picked up the 2017,24V 80# BT Terrova a few weeks back for $1000.00. Found out the transducer was bad but still no problem with the price. I planned on networking it in anyway so transducer was not going to be used. I never even bothered asking for less just took it as fast as I could. LOL

The extra port on non networkable units is for an external gps puck.

I know it will fit #7 raps totally vertical. #9’s you need ta put in at an angle. Not sure how deep the clam box is.

Lettertech in the twin citys. Color and font match most boats. Pick your model and year then colors are listed, just plug in your numbers and done. Had mine in about 7 days.

I’ve had a permit since 2003 so didn’t see the need for a class. Took the online course through total defense in Ramsey. It’s a very minimal course in my opinion. $69. Includes the range fee. If your just renewing its fine.

Catch more fish on #5 but bigger fish on #7. Not sure color matters as much as giving it the right action. Summer is fast snap of the wrist and return to bottom on slack line, repeat. I catch tons of fish on raps in the summer. Don’t give up they can be a game changer…

Anyone ever use a hair jig on the back line? Was planning on trying it last weekend but never made it down.

Ever think of installing a short assist ram like is used on rear SUV hatches? Would hold it open even if not fully..just a thought.
