The hook looks good but the presentation for the leech shown should only be used when bobber fishing. When trolling or drifting always hook the leech on the narrow end away from the sucker.

Ya when I thought of this I envisioned 50 to 100 cars. If you spent $1,000 a year at Cabelas like I have that would be a lot of business they would see driving away. Oh well I won’t be back to Cabelas. Too many other good places to shop.
April 4, 2014 at 6:47 pm #1401912What if we meet in Cabelas parking lot on Saturday morning April 26th. This is the morning of the big give away at Grand Casino. We meet at 7 and drink coffee. At 8 when they open for business everybody just drive away. If we had enough people this would send a strong message to more than just Cabelas.
April 1, 2014 at 5:23 pm #1401079The DNR, the State of MN, the US government and the GLIFWC are all responsible. They won’t admit it because that would leave them open for lawsuits from the businesses going out of business.
I find it funny that the UN can order Japan to stop whaling because the practice is out dated. Yet the state of MN and the US can’t get the nets out of Mille Lacs.
March 27, 2014 at 8:46 am #1399649All I can figure is an executive from Gander Mountain slipped into Cabela’s in an undercover opts mission and somehow convince Cabela’s that this would be a good idea! Probably got paid $100,000 bonus for executing the plan so well!!!!
March 25, 2014 at 3:59 pm #1399197Going to be cold out tonight. Time to start a fire with anything that has Cabelas on it!!

While walleye fisherman almost always bring in a limit to eat.
To me, the fine is nothing compared to the game law violation.
I believe the $3,000 fine should have remained in effect. Taking a pontoon boat motor and trailer from a retired couple in their 70s is a different story.
March 20, 2014 at 6:23 pm #1397866Wether you net in the fall or just prior to the spawn the fish are not there to spawn. Need to allow the tribe to net 20,000 lbs a year in celebration of their heritage. Need to limit their angling limit to the same as ours. No more 10 Walleye a day with no size restriction.
March 20, 2014 at 1:32 pm #1397819You are correct Chris. You know nothing about what’s happening on Mille Lacs.

I’d like to know what rig was used and how long the fight lasted. Had to be a blast!
I heard it was a rattle reel with a number 6 red hook twisted in pliers so 30% of the gold shows.
Did I say a number 6? I meant a number 4. lol
