Did well weekend before last. With all the rain the walleyes are stacked in the Jump and Main Creek. Jigs and cranks both worked well. look for 8 to 10 ft of water with some wood. I will be up there for the next 10 days. Check your pm.

Fishing was a little tougher this weekend. Saturday morning was best caught several walleyes then the boat traffic came and the bite was gone. Sat evening chased muskys caught 1 34in saw 3 more.Sunday I trolled the channel caught 2 slot walleyes and 4 northerns.Seems like the walleyes are spread out all over cant narrow down a pattern. Should be less boats this weekend hope to do better.
May 25, 2010 at 9:54 pm #874926I have a seasonal site on Holcombe. I am up there most weekends. Have been doing fair on walleyes just not much for big fish. Mornings and evenings have been best. I have been taking most casting shallow running cranks in new weed growth 4 to 6ft with deeper water close by. If u need more info or would like to join me sometime feel free to pm me.
April 11, 2010 at 1:01 pm #862823I have good luck with the coton cordell divers. I long line them at speeds from 1.5 to 2mph. Summer months when the water temps are up ae when they shine. These lures need to be tuned to run true to get the maximum depth.
April 8, 2010 at 1:02 am #861883Golf coarses are a good place to crawler hunt. They usually water ever nite plus easy to find in short grass. During and after a hard rain they will be thick even on the greens.
March 29, 2010 at 12:34 pm #858319No she went back in to be caught another day They must be getting close to spawn the males were really milking. she came on a purple/white h20 jig in 3ft of water. i caught fish anywhere from 17ft to 3ft. they do seem to be spread out alot more this year. i found water temps as high as 44 degrees mid day. I noticed even the shore fisherman where doing pretty well. hope to get back there this week.
