Does the power trowel have multiple blades or just the floats? Do you have a cookie sheet for it?

It comes with float blades and finish. Have an extra set of float blades. No pan for it.

Kirk, is there public access in the Buffalo city area or is it all private? Took a drive around there once ice seemed sketchy and didn’t see much for access…that was quite a while ago tho.

Thanks Brian and FBRM. I kinda figured they would be all over with the water levels we have right now.
I might take my 2 year old son out tomorrow for a little bit. Might try around alma n see if I can find some fish. I’ll post a report on how we do if we get out.

I would check the primer bulb on the fuel line. Make sure it’s not cracked and holding fuel line pressure.

I’m going to replace all the fuel lines just cuz they’re pretty old anyways. It does seem to hold pressure tho. I disconnected the fuel line at the carb and squeezed the primer ball and gas came out, so I know manually gas is getting to the carb. Might take a look at the fuel pump n see if anything is damaged in there?

I used it about 3 days before this ordeal started and it ran fine no issues. I checked both plugs for spark and they both have it…

Nice to see people on some fish! I’ve been doing decent on pool 4 and some backwaters off the Chippewa. All perch so far no crappies or gills.

Bucky, that makes sense about crappies hanging in shallow if there’s food and vegetation around. I was also wondering if there were any deeper holes in there since the main river itself is so low ha! I don’t have much experience in the area but would love to get some time in fishing down there. I do realize that even with the water being low there’s still current more in some areas than others and need to keep that in my mind. I have mainly fished the river from pepin to red wing so I’m not sure where the current is in them backwaters. Thanks for the input!!

Eye guy, I was talkin about the dike road on 25 between wabasha and Nelson. I believe the lot I parked in the sign read “beef slough”. I walked maybe a 1/4 mile back. There was power lines crossing there but no open water there was a good 5-6 inches of ice where I fished. Thanks for the input!!

Thanks Matt that makes sense. Hopefully I can spend quite a bit of time on the river this year to find some fish n test some presentations with the changes in the river.

Fished top end of the lake yesterday caught a few saugers and walleyes one northern and a big crappie. Dragging live bait on Wisconsin side. Does anyone have any knowledge of fishing around the pepin area? I recently moved to that area just north of pepin and would like to try fishing around that area. I’ve never fished that far south on the river. I have fished all over from the dam up by red wing to the rush river by maiden rock. If anyone could give me some direction around pepin that would be great!!
