I think you are right. I didn’t mean forever either, just a long time though. I did duty for first time in 30 years. I think they are suppose to wait for like 5 years but they can recall you!
July 24, 2007 at 2:35 pm #593375Now that you’ve actualy served your name gets taken off the list. If you are called but do not sit on a trial or jury your name stays forever. JLK
March 2, 2007 at 7:43 pm #543983Is there a standard fee to get a patent or can the price very considerably?
June 16, 2006 at 5:37 pm #454234Thanks all, I think most of us just get too comfortable in the way we trust others. I have had other items stolen and I get sooooo but really, what can you do? If you lock stuff up they break in and you’ve got to repair. Yes, I have insurance. It will end up taking quite a while to end this I’m sure. I am haveing a hard time trying to remember exactly what rods and reels are missing. It’s just a big hassle to go through. Thanks again. JLK
February 17, 2006 at 5:30 pm #421543I placed some nice 1/2″ carpet under mine and strapped in tight. Works great!!
November 11, 2005 at 9:27 pm #396136Dave Boland from Chatfield MN. He’ll pretty much go anywhere to measure a buck. Or call the Pope & Young club also in Chatfield. 507-867-4144. Good Luck! JLK
October 14, 2005 at 5:14 pm #389806Mellow prabably wants to know about non trout stream waters. The north or main branch of the root should be in great shape now. Of course bass is closed for keeping but you can still have some great fun catching them. You may pick up some walleyes or a few saugers also. Good luck. JLK
September 24, 2005 at 1:16 pm #385778I think you should first ask her WHY she wants a pontoon? A deck boat might be nice BUT!!!!!!
August 30, 2005 at 8:52 pm #381183Dave, I think that if you have deer living in your area there is not much that will keep them OUT of your yard. It is funny you have not seen them consistently over the years. I live on the edge of town with a small woods behind me and I see deer every day. It is possible that there was something keeping them out. Possibly some construction a few years back in your area relocated them for a while. Maybe your area just does not support the deer and every noe and than you are getting some wandering through. JLK
August 30, 2005 at 5:15 pm #381136John, I do think you are correct. I have only trimmed the motor down about half way once! It seemed to work much better. I’ll try trimming way down and gradually bring back up. Once I get her moving she runs like a top!! Thank you all. JLK
August 15, 2005 at 9:25 pm #378383Matth, You should be able to go to any window contractor to get your windows. The egress is for a minimum opening size for a bedroom, or a single room with a window used for sleeping. Are you looking for a replacement type window or more of a wood frame, like an anderson window? I’m in Preston, a little far away. I’m sure you”ll find someone close. JLK
June 18, 2005 at 4:43 pm #367495You can call it the north branch. The north branch officially comes down from Chatfield area. I have always found it easier to call it the north branch. The south actually dumps into the north. When you get up and farther west you have dear, bear, kingsley, and spring valley ceeks that dump into the main branch of the root. JLK
May 13, 2005 at 8:24 pm #362989I guess I needed to stipulate released fish. Not put on a stringer or a livewell of sorts.
May 3, 2005 at 7:00 pm #360993I thought I would have to try those things. I was wondering about those plugs myself. I also noticed some gas coming from the gas inlet when I pumped up the bulb. I think I do need to check a few things. Thankyou.
April 12, 2005 at 5:23 pm #356372Thanks Steve, That’s the same anchor I lost. I loved it. It would hold me pretty much any place. I do have a 15 lb. river and I do like that but a little light. I bought a richter-18lb. I think between the two (if needed) I should be fine.. Thanks guys, JLK
April 4, 2005 at 5:20 pm #354690Thanks for the info Jim. It sounds as though we have similar boats. I just want to be sure I have a GOOD chance of getting the anchor back! JLK
October 19, 2004 at 9:51 pm #324908Dave, The harbor bar is across the river from Redwing. There is a nice place down the road on 63 into Wis. The Bluffs. Good food, nice bar. JLK

What is a strip bar? Like paint stripping?

October 15, 2004 at 5:33 pm #324464Hey Skyguy, Sounds as though you found some great shore action! Any river system that eventually dumps into the great Mississippi will have a certain amount of the same fish in it as the Miss. I have found some great action here in southeast Mn. out of the Root river which eventually ends up in the Miss. I’m sure that if you look in some fishing magazines you’ll find some great articles on shore fishing. Those tubes are prabably faily dark, have some current in them and are full of bait fish. Good luck to ya and let us know how that shore fishing goes. JLK
June 22, 2004 at 9:41 pm #309614Not really. We were fishing the slippery’s tourny and never really boated anything to be weighed.
