    JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFO ON THE PERCENTAGES OF TROUT DEATH RATES FROM FLY FISHING, SPINNERS, PLUGS, AND JUST PLAIN OLD BAIT FISHING?

    I guess I needed to stipulate released fish. Not put on a stringer or a livewell of sorts.

    I don’t know any pecentages, but I do know trout do not handle stress of be unhooked well and fly fishing they rarely swallow a hook so they can be released with less handling of the fish than say a spinner. If you are mostly catch and release fishing for trout it is highly reccomended to crimp or file the barbs.
