If you were running a 106 with livescope it would only be around a hour. Cost would be $70 and weight 4lb 13oz vs 6lb 10oz. I do like the higher voltage just not sure if it is worth the $70.

Those are my thoughts and that’s what I will be running.

How much of a difference in run time hours is the 32 NMC vs the 30 LifePo4? There is a price jump how much am I gaining vs just the weight difference!?

I think Joe will recommend the 32 NMC? Do you already have the 19ah NMC?

Just got my Ultra106 + LVS34 bundle put together, here are the stats:

    Ultra 106sv & cradle
    GLS10 + LVS34 transducer
Garmin XL bag & base (newer bag)
    Amped Outdoors 32ah NMC battery
    All-in-one power cable
    Short Network Cable
    Summit LVS34 Perspective pole mount
    * Still waiting on a transducer cover *

    Total weight = 24.8 lbs

I don’t see how you can get this Screen + Livescope LVS34 combo any lighter without making big tradeoffs in runtime or protection of the parts (battery/case)

Does the bag close with the head unit OEM cover? I saw that you have a soft cover.

Looks awesome! Wish I could get the 106 in Canada for that price. BP does ship but charges extra duty!

Thanks! I have considered all of those things. Even a few pounds lighter it isn’t a hole hopper anyway.
I just want to be sure of my decision. I don’t think the 106 is going to show me more fish than the 93?
Probably just get to know your settings and equipment!?

Great! Now I am on the fence again. lol

Thought the 93 would be good enough.

most said the 93 actually produced a better livescope image vs the 106, mostly due to the preset resolution output from the GLS10, the Ultra is much faster at changing screens and mapping though…

Sorry for the earlier thread reply looks like you may have answered my question.

What was your experience for ice fishing images of the 93 vs 106?

I ended up switching back to using a 93sv UHD for ice fishing, the Ultra106sv setup was just too bulky/heavy/battery hog for my liking…

My Garmin XL Bag/Shuttle/93UHD/18ah Amped setup weighs 20 lbs on the nose…

So when switching back to the 93sv did you notice the huge resolution difference? As I read in your earlier research someone stated if you had them side by side you would look at the 106 all day.

I wont know any difference and this set up is for ice only. Stick with the 93 or upgrade to the 106 for an additional 400$?

    JoeMX your so much help!

I can get the 19 NMC for a bit cheaper than the 30 LifePO4 and since I will be running off a 93UHD I think this will be the best set up for ice.

What would you expect the 19 to get on 100% with the 93UHD? 12+ hours?

What battery (Brand, Type, AH) are you using in your Livescope Shuttle with what Head Unit model? How much runtime do you honestly get? Would be nice to see what everyone else is running…

    Here’s mine:
Head Unit Model = EchoMap 93sv UHD
    Brand = Amped Outdoors
    Type = LifeP04
    AH = 18AH
Runtime = With my fishing style (constantly turning head unit on/off throughout the day with battery terminals always connected, I seem to get about 8-10 hours (I keep my backlight at 100%)

Side Question – What are your thoughts on LifeP04 vs NMC? Does the NMC’s higher operating voltage have ANY benefit to Livescope’s display? I’ve thought about upgrading to either a 19ah NMC (for the 1 lb weight savings/same runtime) or go with maximum runtime of the 32ah NMC at 1 lb heavier weight vs the 18ah LifeP04….

Has there been any update to this battery discussion? I am exactly contemplating the 19 NMC from amped to reduce weight from the 30ah LifeP04 with the same screen. I am hoping for more runtime as when outside a shelter the elements seem to drain alot faster.

FWIW I ordered the LVS32 and black box GLS 10 combo from Cabelas for $1170. It did come with the upgraded single barrel cable that is more pliable in cold weather. Still on the fence if I am going to keep it or return and wait for better deals and/or the LVS34.

Can you keep this thread updated. I am in the same boat. I think I will keep the screen at that price and sit on the fence for a bit. I have 60 days to return it to Cabelas. How were you able to get it reduced from 1299$ to 1170$?

I might just wait to the fall to buy a refurb if there is 2 year warranty as well.

wait a month for folks upgrading to the LVS34 to finally get them and then you’ll see a huge influx of cheap used LVS32 systems for sale everywhere…ONLY look for the single cable design if just using it for ice fishing, the cable is more pliable when cold..

I am new so will need the GLS 10 as well. Most used 32s will likely be without the box. That’s why I am looking a new package.

The other option would be getting a certified refurbished 10/32? Any knowledge of the refurb stuff??

Yes I believe the same as the echo map UHD 93. For 699$ US and the 32/GlS 10 for 1299$ Are those some of the best pricing you have seen for new? I will check today to see if the 32 is the improved transducer. It’s a single cable instead of 2??

Thanks! The screen is priced decently so I should stick with that?

Cabelas has the echomap uhd 93sv for $699 and the LVS32 transducer and black box combo for $1299. You can save an extra 10% off these prices when you buy online and pickup in store with a promo code. Seems like a decent deal. Trying to decide if I should jump on it or wait for the new LVS34 transducer and/or better deals on the LVS32.

Anyone know if the LVS32 and black box combo from cabelas comes with the LVS32-IF transducer with the better cable?

I am in the same situation in Canada and wondering about the ducer as well.
    Are these prices pretty good?

    Looking for help in Canada….
Cabelas has a great deal on a 95UHD for $999 and I was able to price match the LVS32 and GLS 10 system for $1599. How will I know if I get an updated ducer cord? I have been reading there are newer ones?
Sorry my pricing is in CAD.
This will be set up for ice fishing only.
I have a Garmin XL bag and base on order.
What are other recommendations for a cheap build. I know the 34 is coming out but since it is only for Ice I can’t justify the cost.
Should I wait until fall or Black Friday to wait on the livescope system for future rebates. I want to start building in the offseason and slowly acquire all the components over a longer period so the financial hit is softened.
    Thanks for any help….
