What rods are you you guys using when trolling heavy snap weights 5-10oz? I got a couple 8’6″ scheels trolling rods and they seem to take all the action out of them.Which line are your scheels rods? The extremes or the pro-anglers?
the extremes
seems a litte excessive to send that much force in for a non violent potential counterfit money thing? maybe not?
Don’t want to hyjack the post but I have a cva optima and wanting to switch to the blackhorn 209 from pyrodex pellets. Do I need to switch breech plugs for that powder? It’s a pre 2010 gun without the new style breech plug.
Whats the going rate for creek chubs if the bait shops have them? thinking about going to trap or catch them this weekend below my house, but this rain is probably going to make that impossible. Can a guy sell a few at a time out ouf your garage or is that against the law without a bait lic.?
Your going to want 2 dedicated batteries for you trolling motor, never good practice to tie a trolling motor to your cranking battery. Would recomend geting the connect ease sytem for hooking up batterys and chargers for the diy guy’s. Allows you to hook up chargers to battery properly as well. your going to want a 3 bank charger to charge properly
at idle your stator/altenator is only putting out a amp or less probably so the only real charge time was on your run to and from you spot.
