Hey,

On Tuesday(July 3) We trolled shallow running Rapalas, in the perch and chartruese colors, on the Bay City flats. There is a dead head off the point on the opposite side of Cathrene, where we managed to catch nine eyes, with six keepers. the size varied from 15 1/4-18″. Others were trolling some spinners with bottom bounders with leeches,(i think). Best bet is to troll right around the small dead head, in about 5-7′ of water.

maybe our scale was wrong… We own a net with a scale build into it so it could be off a few pounds. That would make my day AGAIN if he weighed more than i had thought!

Hoggie,

where were you when you cought them? I fished it hard for two days and never even had a nibble! While i was staying at a campground a person that was next to me cought a 4 1/2 pounder. But I was not able to catch anything.
