Hey Chris, would the American Channel on the way to Kettle Falls Hotel qualify as a “current run”?

Hey Fishnut, how’s that canal between Trading Post and Agency? Last year, if I remember, it was pretty shallow.

We’re heading up to Huddles on Saturday for the week, anything else you all can share as far as how the fishing is on the east/south side?

I’ve got a Strikemaster, and I really like it. But, like some others have said, it really depends on the ice you’re on. When cutting thru 3 feet of ice, you’re only going to get about 10 holes cut before the battery goes. In 18 inches of ice, I can cute about double that. I like if for using in a perm, so you don’t end up w/ all the gas fumes indoors.

I’ve got my HDS-7 setup on a Genz Blue pack, Lowrance ice ducer, and battery.

With a full charge, I can get roughly 6 hours out of a 7.5 mAh battery.

For us it seemed that shiners outperformed fatheads. Most of our fish were caught using the pink or white glow teardrop shaped lures.

I’ve got Dish, and it seems the first sign of rain or snow, and my signal goes out. I’m actually considering going back to cable, because I’m tired of not being able to get a signal in the slightest of weather.

x2 for Tom. I had issues w/ a StructureScan unit I bought from Reeds. Printed out the RMA, brought the unit and the RMA into Reeds, grabbed a new one off the shelf, and I was on my way.

    Doc,

What transducer setting in the HDS unit do you have yours set to for the U2 ducer? I’m using the generic 83/200, and I can’t get water temp readings on mine.
