They were stocking shelves in the fishing tackle section. No, really. They had about 10 of these big stocking carts stacked full of OPEN WATER fishing stuff and they were putting everything out as if it were spring. They had everything. They had jigs they had mono they had plastics.

I looked at the carts and the poor guy who was stocking stuff looked back at me as if to say please don’t ask… I take it people had been bugging him all morning asking for the 1/9th Oz fuchsia Flipper Dipper jigs that they were hoping were somewhere on those ten carts.

I asked a manager guy in a white shirt what the deal was and he said stuff just started coming in. They had stuff on order but nothing ever showed up before. He was hoping that this isn’t their allocation for next year as well.

Strange times. Fishing gear actually getting stocked during the fishing season. Weird.

We’ve been stalking it because it hasn’t been stocked.

    I’ll show myself out.

Edit: Ha! You fixed it while I was posting, you sneaky bugger.

No, their vegan and vegetarian selections were a little weak.

I went to fleet farm to buy a new gun but they also don’t have any of them. So then I browsed the tackle selection. They also had very little of that. But they were fully stocked on purses and ladies gardening gloves.
