No dilusions here. This boat is absolutely a WET ride, but what 16′ tin tiller boat isn’t. However for a boat that gets the snot kicked out of it on the river multiple days a week that “wetliner” sitting in my garage is about as good as it gets!

I’m considering a 24volt 80 lb thrust transom mount trolling motor instead (but no open water, I stick to the bays only). To limp back to the dock if needed (in saltwater), I use a 55lb thrust in Freshwater.

Looks a little cushy-er than other boats which will be good for the ladies.
How does it ride in rough water? Being in ND, rough water is fairly common. Thanks!
October 3, 2023 at 5:08 pm #2227691As far as the wet ride goes, aren’t we driving through water that has waves? Drive better and stay dryer is my 2 cents. If it starts and floats, pretty much works for me.
