Pepin this weekend

    Heading up to Pepin Friday and Saturday to fish for walleye,saugers and pike. Just wondering how walleye and sauger action is right now? Will use long line,leadcore cranks and live bait rigging. Just wondering on any suggestion of the presentation? Thanks for any info

    We had a pretty good day last Sunday pulling shallow water toward the top end of the lake. Big bright Shad Raps at speeds around 2.5 – 2.8
    Heard of several boats doing good in deeper water with numbers but not the size we were getting.

    Went out Tuesday the 20th and dragged minnows using chartreuse Phelps floaters from 8-20 FOW and did pretty well. We were fishing for walleyes and saugers, which we did catch, along with a lot of crappies too. We did catch one monster a 26″ walleye.
