    Hey Tuck-

    Where is this North Lake you were talking about? I’m down in Apple Valley, and am always looking for quality fish down in that part of the metro versus traveling all over to find runts.

    It is east of Hastings about 8 miles, on the way to Treasure Island. It is a backwater lake off of the Mississippi. Quality is a relative term. If you get a half a dozen right now, you are doing well. The size is great when you do get them. They rival Red Lake Crappies. You will get both white and blacks.
