Went and fished pool 9 below the dam and saw a number of people catching small sauger along with a few keeper walleyes. The float must of had 100 people on it Saturday. The boats were also numerous.
Went and tried pool 10 Sunday and got a few nice walleyes (no biiger than 17″) and a ton of small sauger.
Both pools required drifting and vertical jigging in order to prevent grass on your jigs and to be able to use a smaller jig.
Did anybody do any better? When will the bigger fish be biting?
