    This guy isn’t mediocre.

Well should see a ton more swing and miss now as the Twins will revert back to what they are…..a terrible contact team.

We’re gonna have to have Kyle Farmer pitch the ninth at this rate…..

I have been laughing at all the talk about our pen being so great since the postseason started. They had a good stretch the last three weeks of the season. But they are who we thought they were. They always have been. Hopefully Paddock can shut them down for a few innings so we can get back in this.

5.29 ERA this season. And he’s got 5 Ks in 3 innings.

Spoiler Alert: Buxton is inserted into the game off his record breaking career long rest and delivers to rally the squad

…at least that’s my off the cuff prediction

He would be #3 on the Twins staff.

Probably was the 24 HR he gave up in the last two months of the season.

Before that too.. they didn’t like the way he handled Covid protocol a couple years ago, and other stuff like maybe he’s cocky and doesn’t take direction maybe. I think Joe is a bit of a free spirit and California dude and they’re trying to make him something he may not be, or just shows glimpses of once in awhile.. but isn’t on the same page with Rocco or Maki.

I don’t think I’ve seen any evidence to suggest that. What I have seen is no evidence that any of the starting pitchers are on the same page as Baldelli and Maki.

Urquidy might have had a down year, but just like the starter from last night, they both have had a lot of success in postseason. And still are.

    I’m not a Rocco fan.

With that said, Joe Ryan hasn’t been trustworthy since the All Star break. I’ve got no problem with once through the lineup and pulling him.

The bigger issue is the offense, and overall approach at the plate for a lot of these guys.

If it ends tonight, one thing I’m now looking forward to is seeing Paddock in the rotation next season. He has been FILTHY since coming back. He better come back out for the sixth.

I still think there’s something more to it, and he’s not a rookie/young guy any more. He’s under team control, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the FO moves him in the off season now that Rocco has saved his job..

The problem this entire postseason has been our kids that carried the team all year other than Julien and Lewis have been completely overmatched and non existent.

Unfortunately another character building year… but at least we got 3 post season wins with the Yankees out of it..

I’m not conceding this one yet. But lets remember these Astro’s are the defending World Series Champions. This team isn’t chopped liver, they are good.

Twins are a bloop & a blast as they say from tying this up. Paddock is doing his job and we still have arms left if they can tie it somehow.

Hopefully they run Paddock back out. Sure they won’t. He’s been to good and a whopping what 25 pitches for 7 outs

I’d like to think he will but that’s probably the most pitches he’s thrown since coming back. Although it’s the end of the season, empty out the tank!

The more pitches Brantley sees the more I think he’s gonna take Jax deep.

    Glad I was wrong.

PS I really hate these in dugout interviews right after a player does something.

Came back in for a beer. So now Duran has to get 6 outs cause everyone else is gone. My daughter just came outside with a pulse oxygen meter she was playing with. 98 oxygen and 79 heart rate. For me that’s fast I’m usually upper 40s to mid 60s. Back to halloween for me. They did better in this series without me anyway

K on three pitches. In all seriousness, what a story if he actually does something.
