Len H ..Need your advice

    Are familiar with this style flyfishing.. Tenkara

    My father inlaw is thinking of trying it with a shorter version(6′) of the rods they use for some small streams he fishes around MN and Iowa.

    What do you think ?

    I think a longer rod would be easier to use. It would keep you away from the fish better, allow you to keep more line off the water. It sure is an interesting method and I like the flies too.

    My apologies Rootski, I forgot you fly fish also

    I also thought this method would be better with a longer rod, but what I know about flyfishing you can place on a sewing pin head.
