Spirit Lake report, August 2nd,2003

What a nice morning to spend a few hours trying to get the boys on some fish.Only fished for smallies for about a half hour with only Cole catching a largemouth.I then decided to pull crankbaits for some walleyes.I was working with Daves Lures new Winning Streak line of crankbaits.These are great little baits,same style as your Hot N Tots.I will try to get a product review up in the future about them.We ended up with 4 small walleyes all of them off the same color in 10-12′ of water.The color we had are luck on was the metallic purple with the orange belly.I’ll get a few pics off to the EFN staff to get up for interested parties.Here is one of Cole’s largemouth.

And Austin with another.It was fun watching Cole and Austin reeling the walleyes in.We had 150′ of line out and they were both tired after each one.Can’t wait until I can get them on some bigger eyes in the future.
