okay, in the spirit of trying something new, I’m going to spool up flouro on two rods this year:
1. 14 pound Trilene Flouro on my jig/plastic MH rod
2. 8 pound Trilene Flouro on my spinning set up
Will replace 14 lb Trilne XL on the MH and 8 lb Suffix Siege on the spinning…
Tried the BPS stuff on a baitcaster last year…spent more time picking backlashes than fishing the stuff. Had to be extra careful, so ended up adjusting brakes and stuff and got to where I could cast relatively decent but distance suffered a bunch.
Not a good experience.
Went back to mono and making the casts I needed to catch fish.
Will try, try again.
