We were headed to Calamus this morning.Got a late start.So when we got to my son in laws place . We just headed over to Sherman,
We were set up by 2:30 am. Crappie stared to bite right around the lights and trees. About 3 the tip up just outside the lights and in the dark stared to go off. Kyle and I drilled a couple holes around the most active tip ups. The tip up at that time was just getting the bait smashed l or stolen of the hook. I had fl 18 on zoom. And Kyle was using his 8. Boy did we do something right. First out of the hole was 29 in walleye. I would say half hour later we all were jigging walleye out of 25 foot of water . Got a couple af cats along with the walleye. Ended up with 4 over and 12 between 19 and 21.I say we had 20 or so crappie and a couple of whites. Hopping to get a earlier start to night..I do not think we can keep any walleye till mid night. So that’s when we are headed out.
