I do have a glass boat. I’m thinking about adding some of these slides on the new boards

It’s getting close to carpet replacement time for me too. I would like very much to see pics of your bunk boards and glides.
    Thanks

I replaced my 4 bunks a few years ago on my old boat and trailer.
pushed the boat off at a public ramp, and tied it off on the dock, and drove up to the parking lot, and did the trailer bunk job.
think it was 2 X 6’s, that I had precut to length,
used an indoor/outdoor carpet that I got from a boat dealer,
layed the boards on the carper, folded it over on each side, think I used staples, and galvanized roofing nails to tack the carpet on.
added the trailer hardware, tighened it all up,
and backed it up, put the boat back on, and drove home.
worked great, and didn’t take too long.
    good luck,
    Jack

I did the same as Jack (I only had 2 to do)
Except I did mine by jacking my boat up off the trailer with a floor jack….first one side…then the other.
    It worked great.

A few weekends ago the fiance found a really nice 5 point side while we went for a walk to check some cameras. I knew by the pictures that he had lost both sides but just couldn’t find the other side. last night I went for a walk up on a big point that big bucks will sometimes bed on. It was a long shot becuase it was nowhere near where this buck seems to like to call ‘home’, but sure enough, laying in a bed was the side I’d been looking for. In other news, 75% of the bucks are still holding both as of the cameras i checked last night.
