Thanks for the update! Man those are some nice fish and that sunset pic rocks!
I might be heading up to the property norht of McGreggor and fishing Minnwawa this weekend. I hope I can find some nice ones like you did.
Craig, what depth did you locate them in??

Most of the crappies we caught were in 25-28 fow. Removing the inerts out of the waxies worked the best, it makes the jig look like one of those larvae’s – more action when jigging.March 10, 2008 at 5:51 pm #663931Great report! Where there many people on the lake? I bowed out and headed locally to put a spanking on the crappies. The warm weather is really going to help!

I think there were 10-12 vehicles on the lake. Warmer temps should start the bite.
January 10, 2010 at 11:20 pm #209394Hey i’m posting this for bigfoot hunter, not trying to take credit but wish it was mine. He found this on public land around the area today. We did a rough score around 82 inches but were not offical scorers. 22 inch main beam, 8 total points, 4.5 inches bases. Great find!!
