Thanks for the update! Man those are some nice fish and that sunset pic rocks!

I might be heading up to the property norht of McGreggor and fishing Minnwawa this weekend. I hope I can find some nice ones like you did.

Craig, what depth did you locate them in??

    Lip,
Most of the crappies we caught were in 25-28 fow. Removing the inerts out of the waxies worked the best, it makes the jig look like one of those larvae’s – more action when jigging.

Great report! Where there many people on the lake? I bowed out and headed locally to put a spanking on the crappies. The warm weather is really going to help!

    Sand Burr,

I think there were 10-12 vehicles on the lake. Warmer temps should start the bite.

Hey i’m posting this for bigfoot hunter, not trying to take credit but wish it was mine. He found this on public land around the area today. We did a rough score around 82 inches but were not offical scorers. 22 inch main beam, 8 total points, 4.5 inches bases. Great find!!

While ice fishing this morning I watched two bucks feed along the shore, they went head to head once until the one backed off when he realized he didn’t have any horns anymore! Funny to watch!
