Given up trying to find a slug barrel for kids 20 gauge. Anyone know a place thats good and affordable to drill scope mount holes.

Cabin fever told me their guy gets 150 bucks a hole. Was thinking that was nuts.

100 is what I paid in the past at the hugo gunsmith
August 11, 2023 at 11:48 am #2218474If its not going on a Rifled slug barrel I would go with a side or saddle mount rather than spending the $ to drill and tap. The accuracy out of a non rifled barrel is going to be limited in the 1st place and the side or saddle mount will not be a factor at all.

I think this works for the youth, might be worth a shot. Where the stock meets the reciever is a different shape but for a saddle that shouldn’t matter.
