    Given up trying to find a slug barrel for kids 20 gauge. Anyone know a place thats good and affordable to drill scope mount holes.

    Cabin fever told me their guy gets 150 bucks a hole. Was thinking that was nuts.

    IF they truly meant $150 PER THREADED HOLE then yes that is nuts. Generally $150 total is what you SHOULD pay for a drill/tap job.

    If its not going on a Rifled slug barrel I would go with a side or saddle mount rather than spending the $ to drill and tap. The accuracy out of a non rifled barrel is going to be limited in the 1st place and the side or saddle mount will not be a factor at all.

    Only youth model I could get a few years ago was a winchester SXP. Dont see any mounts like that available for it.

    Its a 20 gauge guessing that would be different
