Went out to my brothers ice fishing shack yesterday.. Jigged in a perch, a crappie and watched a huge pike watching the underwater camera for several minutes. He’d just sit down there & flare his gills at the camera. Opening his mouth & giving us a shot of his dental work. He suspended by the camera in 10 FOW for the whole hour I was there.
It was cool to watch. Ice jig & a minnow we’re the bait of choice. Followed by premium cigars for the boys in the ice house.
Ice was 4-5 inches thick followed by a layer of water about 1/2 inch then topped off by ice again. It was strange to walk on.
