Ice trout at Foster’s

Have yet to try out Foster’s in the winter. Anybody ever get out there to hammer trout? Not looking for any secrets, more or less want to know of any springs under the ice and what to expect to catch(if anything). Thanks

Fosters is Hit or Miss. In most instances can be slow and frustrating for trout, but sometimes (after the truck dumps some in) it is fast and productive. I would bring a few beers to help pass the time the way things are going right now.

Hit it yesterday for @ 2 hours before dark. Fished 17 FOW, caught a few small bows. I release every trout out there now because 2 years ago I kept a limit (3) and the meat was similar to mashed potatoes.
