The Red River Hookers will be sponsoring a 7 pm meeting on Tuesday, October 4 at Mike’s Pizza in East Grand Forks, MN to discus tighter channel catfishing regulations on the Red River in Minnesota and North Dakota. We want to hear as many ideas as possible, pros and cons.

What was your impression of the meeting and the out come Kent?
One of the Game and fish people were there and he is on both sides. We asked him about the possible new change and he said as a Fish and Game emp. that the river is doing just fine the way it is. Then we asked him as a angler of the red river since he likes fishing here, he said lets do it. He would love to see something like that. Our group just got done writing a letter to the State regarding what we would like to see. They are meeting next month to see what new rule changes are going to take place. Lets hope they like what we wrote. Time will tell I’ll keep you posted.
