Powering a Tyee 2075 Limited

    Do you think a Mercury 250XS is enough power for a 2075 Tyee? when loaded down with gear and maybe 4 200lb adults?

    I don’t have experience with that particular boat but yes….that’s alot of motor. I know a handful of guys running 620 Rangers with 250’s on them and they have more than enough power.

    Can you even get a 300 on it?

    It shows a max rating of 250 hp. So to answer the question, yes it will handle that boat fine.

    Go with a V-Max SHO instead ;)

    u could also go with a Verado for a little more oomph

    I have a Tyee 1900 with a 150 Merc. Have no problem cruising with six adults in the boat. You should be fine.
