    Other than the mess it sounds like the repair was done correctly. All lawn faucets are required to have inside shutoffs. They are also required to have a vacuum breaker. Only way a license plumber can put them in.

    Right, I am only disappointed in the mess, reduction of water volume for lawn watering and the cost. LOL I know it was done correctly. It was something that needed to be done. I tried replacing the seals, etc in the front faucet last year and it only made it leak worse! So, replacing the whole faucet needed to be done along with the valves.
