If your fishing south dakota this weekend bring something with a perch pattern. I have been using perch patterned tumblers and tingles lately on the basin to call in schools and keep them interested. Silver back seems to be best on bright sunny days to even call a school back after they have left. Here is a nice jumbo that came 7 feet off bottom to whack the spoon. Fished 3 hours the other day ran into three schools caught 20 fish from 9 to 12 inches. Good luck to all getting out, – QB

Yellow Perch Tumbler is my go to! That bait and color seems to produce under most conditions. They seem to make fish really angry!

Perch is always my go to spoon color followed in a close second by UV green. Keep some ice around and the perch biting for a few more weeks. Its time for me to come home and catch some fish through the ice.
