Good Morning:
I will be spending next week-end in the Sturgeon Bay area. Any current reports and suggestions for fishing smallmouth would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Although I don’t have a report, I’ll be there next weekend. I would imagine there will be fish in all stages of the spawn and will be concentrating my efforts in shallower water throwing jerkbaits, grubs and tubes.
Just got back—-Riley’s bay was cold as 49 and high of 52, fish were not even starting. Little Sturgeon Bay was just starting and will be going VERY GOOD this weekend, with the cold temps. predicted this week, think further north will be good but only getting better. Big fish for us was a 23 full of spawn, did not get a scale on her but was BIG!
