My back light on my Lowrance 111 screen does not always work????? Any idea on what it might be or a fix? Would a soft reset be in order? If so how do you do that again?

Hey Rob,
A reset is worth a try.
1. Turn unit OFF
2. Press and hold the PAGES key
3. Press and hold the PWR key
4. Release both buttons when the USA map
appearsLet us know if it helped.

When i turn on the front graph it is dim, when i try to make it bright it dims the back graph. when i try to make them both bright one of them always goes dim. not sure if that is any help, but if anybody knows of a fix for that i’d be a very happy guy!

Backlight Synchronization
The Backlight Synchronization command will keep all display unit
backlight levels consistent across the NMEA 2000 network. So, if you
set the backlight level to 75% on one display unit, all other units on the
network will automatically switch to the same setting. To turn on/off Backlight Synchronization:
1. Press MENU|MENU, select NMEA 2000 and press ENT.
2. Highlight BACKLIGHT SYNCHRONIZATION and press ENT, which will turn
on/off Backlight Synchronization.
3. Press EXIT repeatedly to get back to the main display.bbaunePosts: 52October 14, 2009 at 2:35 am #809015just when i thought i’d been through every menu!
thanks for the help, i’ll give that a shot this weekend.

It is just one unit. The other works fine but sometimes it works other times not.
