We were in Morson last week and the water is steadily coming down.
The resort reported it stayed at peak for a few weeks, starting to come down the last week in July and coming down 18 inches since then based on the water marks on the boathouse shed. During the week we were there it fell enough that I adjusted my map offset from +3′ to +2′ instead.
That is great news that it continues to lower.

What are the levels now? Similar to normal? I know they managed the Rainy much different this year which must have helped. Heading up to Sioux Narrows next weekend.

level is dead-nuts average…which is 3 1/4 feet less than this time last year.
inflows are average, but dropping.
outflows are high average, and i expect they’ll reduce that soon too.
Very cool to know thank you sir! Man last year was a disaster for us. Our island was under water so we had to make a new camp only to find a bear den on it after we were done LOL
