Lake Okeechobee

    Just booked 3 days fishing on Lake Okeechobee in April. Anyone been? We’re staying pretty cheap at Roland and Mary Martins resort. Will probably hire a guide the first day. Any tips and opinions welcomed.

    All I ever hear about Okeechobee is the Monkey Box and Shiners. I know if I was on a trip there I’d need to try some of that live Shiner fishing for sure. Have fun and good luck. Post a report when you return.
