There is an Open Tryout to fill the fishing roster for the 2010 Championship in Rhinelander Wisconsin.

I believe there is four open seats and an assistant coach. This is the United States first time hosting the WIFC and they are headed to a fishy area. Old School fishing tactics revisited. I urge everyone that ice fishes to give it a glance.

Interesting rules. If I read them correctly: No artifical or plastic bait allowed. No electronic devices (flashers, cameras, etc) and no mechanized drills.

    No modern technology.

I didn’t read the rules for the Sat. event….looks like Sunday only for me. I don’t think the cave man fishing works for me anymore.
