    For what its worth. I was at Dick’s Sporting goods in Woodbury the other day. They had LX-3 for sale at 299.99. That’s a heck of a price. Not sure if they changed the price since then but if you are looking it is worth a call.

    Be aware that the LX-3 that you see at the Gander Mountains, Cabelas, etc. is last years model, and $300 should be the price. If you want this years model, LX-3tc, you will have to do a little more searching. I talked with rep from Cabela’s and they said that they will not be selling the LX-3tc, but couldn’t give me an answer why. I was able to find them for sale at Reeds in Brainerd, and similar small-market sporting goods stores.

    I jsut bought last years model, LX-3 with the TC upgrade from Scott Steil for $325.
