Guttenburg

    Spent an hour below the dam at Guttenburg last Sunday.
    Caught 5 less than 1/2 lb smallmouth and a 8″ sauger.
    Caught them on 1/4 oz lead heads with a 2 1/2″ purple silver hoochie momma and a 5″ big curl tail worm in blue/purple flake worm.
    Locks were all up but the water was not overly muddy.

    I may be bringing the boat down there next weekend to take my uncle fishing. Hopefully flow goes down a bit. He wants to try for catfish, but I’m going to try to find some walleyes.

    River is falling.
    Supposed to be around 9 ft Saturday
    Currently 11 ft.
