I know there has been a few topics on this subject. I have now been tooling around with go-pro studio and so far not to bad. I have had a few issues getting it to load to youtube so I am considering using the program they offer to edit videos this spring down on the river. Anyone else out there have other alternatives they have tooled around with? Adding the music to it with youtube is about as simple as it comes is why I am pushing toward them now.

YOu talking about editing the Videos online at YouTube?
‎CyberLink’s PowerDirector 13 seems to get the best reviews. I am going to get that eentually. I had an earlier version pre-installed on my laptop and thought it was just ok, but apparently they have really improved it.
I am pretty sure you can download license free music from YouTube and add it to your videos when editing. And you can always add music after you upload and edited video.
