I reserved my camping permit yesterday. This is the first year Voyageurs National Park is moving to a online campsite reservation system. For those who can plan ahead you might want to reserve your sites and April 1st was the first day this was available. Already some of the more desirable sites are taken so you might want to start making plans.

It was fairly easy to naviage the process: start /www.nps.gov/voya/index.htm. They have maps with reservable campsites listed as well as current availability. Cost is now 20.00 and up depending on campsite size. Its still a bargain. Its great thinking about summer!
