well i made it to red yesterday with not a lot of success with crappies only catching a couple 
but was an excellent walleye trip 
with catching close to 150 walleyes 
very nice eyes , water temp was 52 so crappies should be soon, the water level is down 30 inches from normal , bigger boats were having a hard time getting in and out the mouth of the tamarak river as it is very shallow , well less than 2 weeks to opener
