As for all you purple wearing packer haters…I’ll take Brett at 40 over any of the last three or four QB’s you’ve had. The last good QB you guys had was Randle Cunningham. Before that…hmmmm…..Fran Tarkington???? I don;t think his skills have declined that much. He is playing with the youngest team in the NFL, with the most rookies starting. Maybe just MAYBE it has a little to do with lack of playmakers around him. For example…Bubba Franks, normally a sure thing in the red zone can’t seem to find a handle on the ball this year.
One more thing…who was the last QB wearing purple to go to the hall of fame? Got ten bucks you wanna loose? I bet Bret goes in first time he is eligible.
