How is the Deer hunting near Brainerd Mn. I know this is a fishing section but I feel like ido’s hunting site does not get nearly the amount of views. Thanks!

The question is compared to where in Minnesota? I lived in Brainerd for three years and now I live in the bluff lands. No comparison, I seen more deer in one deer season down here than I seen all three years up there.
January 30, 2013 at 2:17 pm #1136175We hunt over by aitkin and it is very good. Then again it would depend on what you are looking for. We have lots of deer. Usually always fill out the 1st weekend. 2 week,3 weekend hunting season. Few hunters and peace and quiet. My hope is to shoot at least one 8 point off our spot in my life time. Has not happened yet in 25 years of hunting there but there is still time. If you are looking for big racks I would go else where or be happy watching them on TV.
