Satelite TV via Ice House…?

Ok, so we want to set-up a portable Direct Tv unit for the ice house. Wondering how people go about buying a reciever etc. or any advise on this idea would be great.

I’m interested too. I have Direct at home, can I use it at the deer shack?

Yes you can… I bought a dish off CL, mounted on the cabin and since we have 2 receivers, I take the one from the basement to the cabin. Works great !!! Also an ice house, no problem Direct Tv knows this too, they do have a chrage of like $5 for another receiver for the camper/cabin, but we don’t need another receiver, we hardly ever watch in basement anymore…

You can activate/deactivate at any time and there is no need to worry about shifting ice, house moves and re-peaking your dish. This one does it all on its own.
