After a few trips up north I finally made it back out on the home waters tonight. Put 15 or so eyes in the boat in about three hours tonight. Lots of shorts, only a couple woulda kept. Went 11 for 12 on a tin of leeches though (finally got my money outa um, ha). Did have a 5/6 lb cat get the heart movin’ for a bit though.

Put some where around 20 eyes in the boat last night. Still lots of shorts but managed a pair that woulda kept. Seems to be the story with most all the lakes in my area this year…
